Health & Safetfy Health and Safety Policy Statement
(For Contractors, Sub-Contractors)
We are dedicated to providing a safe and healthful environment for employees and customers, protecting the public, and preserving Westwood Painting Services Inc. assets and property.
At Westwood Painting, our most valuable resources are the people who work for us. Injuries can be prevented. Protection of our employees from injury and health risk is a major objective for us. To achieve this objective, we will make all reasonable efforts to comply with all government regulations pertaining to safety and health issues. We will make every effort to provide a safe, healthy work environment. Stan Halasa as employer, is ultimately responsible for worker health and safety. An effective program will be carried out throughout our organization.
The Health and Safety Program will assist management and non-supervisory employees in controlling hazards and risks that will minimize employee and customer injuries, damage to customer's property and damage or destruction of company property.
All employees will follow this program. Every employee must protect his or her own health and safety by working in compliance with law and with safe work practices and procedures established by the company. This program is designed to encourage all employees to promote the safety of their fellow employees and customers. To accomplish our safety and health goals, all members of management are responsible and accountable for implementing this policy, and to insure it is followed.
Westwood Painting Services Inc. is sincerely interested in our employee's safety. The policy of Westwood Painting is to provide safe equipment, adequate tools and training, and the necessary protective equipment. It is the employee's responsibility to follow the rules of safety as established for their protection and the protection of others, and to use the protective devices, which Westwood Painting Services provides.
It is in the best interest of all parties to consider health and safety in every activity. Commitment to health and safety must form an integral part of this organization, from the president to the workers.
